What Size Clothing, Harness or Collar is Right for Your Dog?
It's important your dog's clothes, harness or collar fit well. Both so you'll be happy with the fashion and your dog will love the function!
If clothes, harnesses or collars are too tight they can restrict blood flow or interfere with natural movement and breathing. Too loose and they can create a safety hazard by falling into the eyes or presenting loose folds that can get caught on things when your pooch is moving about.
How to Measure:
The most important measurements are typically:
Back: Measured along the top of the spine, from between the shoulder blades to the base of the tail.
Chest (or girth): All the way around the largest part of the rib cage.
Neck: Measured at the place where your dog's collar sits.
For Collars: To determine the proper size, measure the circumference of pet’s neck and add 2".
When measuring, make sure your dog is standing on a flat surface and you're using a flexible measuring tape.
After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the product dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).
If your dog is between sizes choose the larger size.
